We recommend firing up the BaseCamp every 4-6 months. If you are using the Stove to charge higher-wattage devices regularly (ie tablets, GoPros, etc) , make sure that you have a strong fire going so that the battery LEDs are fully lit on the dashboard.
The BaseCamp battery is ready for thousands of cycles and designed to withstand the lifetime of the product.
